Strategic Plan: Our Accomplishments
It’s been two years since we adopted “Our Issaquah,” the City’s first strategic plan. As we mark this anniversary, we're looking back to celebrate what has been accomplished, and sharing our plans moving forward.
From planting 12,680 trees to delivering road and park improvements, we have made meaningful strides toward our desired outcomes. Learn more online.
As we look ahead to 2022 and beyond, please provide your feedback on what should come next:
Mayors Challenge: COVID-19 Vaccinations
In conjunction with President Biden’s goal to vaccinate 70 percent of Americans by the Fourth of July, The United States Conference of Mayors recently announced a Month of Action with the White House and Department of Health and Human Services to increase vaccinations throughout the country.
Mayors across the U.S. are participating in a “Mayors Challenge” to increase vaccination rates and ensure equitable access to the vaccine by mobilizing their communities to do their part and get involved.
I have signed on to that challenge, and commit to continuing outreach and education on vaccine safety and effectiveness.
Thank you to the 85 percent of our residents who have received at least one dose so far. Vaccines are now widely available throughout Issaquah. Find a location online.
