A huge thank you to Tekapo Springs who hosted our most recent B2B (Business to Business) these are a great way to re-connect with the business community, do a bit of networking and maybe even learn something new - we did !  Michi and Walter Speck gave an interesting overview of the history of Ice Hockey in the Mackenzie, and Tekapo Springs not only fed and watered us with delicious food and wine ( which they very generously provided) - we also got a sneak peek at the Virtual Reality and Curling.  Jack the head stargazing guide also gave us a bit of an overview of the TS operation.

Our next B2B is August at Art Space Tekapo and Petronellas on August 19th so Save The Date !
A big thank you to everyone involved with the A2O hui held last month at Peppers.  A wonderful function and networking in conjunction with TPBA, Waitaki Tourism, CHCNZ and A2O.  Thank you to all who attended and all who facilitated.
Please take the time to check your business listing (s) on
the website and click here to update any details.  www.laketekaponz.co.nz

Please note that any unpaid subs as of 10 June will result in listing being removed from the website.  Membership is currently only $90 (usually $150 ) due to businesses being affected by Covid.
We are currently creating itineraries to add to our website for visitors so they know what is on offer in Tekapo - please email us any suggestions for inclusion laketekapopromotions@gmail.com
We are here to support our members - so if you or your group have an idea or project let us know - we cannot facilitate the project but may be able to support you financially and with community communications and connections.  An excellent example is the amazing crew at ArtSpace Tekapo and Petronellas who are bringing us the Mackenzie Book and Art Festival in September.
Map Collection Point

We are going to do another run of maps but need someone with an eye for detail to edit them - if this is you please email us

The map books ( $6 each ) are now distributed by the fabulous Annie OSuillivan at her bike hire premises at 8 Simpson Lane.  Please collect and Annie will record and report to us.  Annies opening hours are variable over winter so email her before dropping in.
