Now I Can See!

John 9:25 (NIV®)
“One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!”

It seems that word-of-mouth recommendations have largely been replaced by online reviews. You can see feedback on whether a plumber arrived on time, a waiter refilled your glass regularly, a front desk clerk was helpful, and even if a church was friendly. Positive reviews can do great things for a business, and negative reviews can sink one quickly. That’s because we trust the power of a personal testimony. When Jesus healed a man who had been blind from birth, it caused a ruckus among the religious establishment. They questioned the man about the circumstances of his healing, and the man answered their questions as best he could. As they continued to press him, the man finally responded, “This is all I know. I was blind, and now I can see!” You may not be a polished speaker or feel comfortable in front of a crowd, but your Jesus-story is your own powerful testimony of what He has done for you.

THINK ABOUT IT
No one can deny it or dispute your Jesus-story, and it is yours to share. When you do, you bring glory to God.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, help me effectively share Your intervention in my life through the cross of Jesus Christ. Your transforming power is continually at work in me, and my story continues. May I recognize the open doors to share it, bringing You glory as I do. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Blessings,
