NEWS & RESEARCH

New Research on Severe Allergic Reactions in Infants and Toddlers

Anaphylaxis can be harder to spot and diagnose in infants and toddlers. The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) teamed up with leading food allergy researchers to to better understand how parents (and primary caregivers) of young children recognize the signs of allergic reactions in infants and toddlers. Learn more about the study and how this can help parents, caregivers, and doctors. (KFA is the food allergy division of AAFA.)

Do You Live in an Asthma Capital?

Asthma is the leading chronic disease in children and is common in children with food allergies. AAFA's 2021 Asthma Capitals Report ranks the top 100 U.S. cities by how challenging they are to live with asthma. Allentown, Pennsylvania, tops this year's list. See how other cities ranked.
