The Original Reusable Mug

Today is World Refill Day - a global public awareness campaign to prevent plastic pollution and help people live with less waste, keeping our environment, oceans, cities and communities plastic-free for the future.

All our mugs are reusable and plastic-free, but this one in particular highlights the pollution problem by re-imagining Hokusai's iconic woodblock print "Great Wave off Kanagawa" as it might look today... an ocean filled with plastic debris and rubbish.

"Every drop of water you drink, every breath you take, you're connected to the sea." - Sylvia Earle

Did you know...

... we have our own public water point, accessible 24 hours a day?! Located on the corner of Jamaica & Hillgrove Streets, there's a sink with soap, and even power points for recharging!

So if you're in need of a refill while wandering through Stokes Croft, you know where to go - and if you're elsewhere in town, then the Refill app can show you where to get your fix of H2O.

Nice Jugs

On the topic of filling things up, we're loving these new straight sided jugs, available in three different sizes. If you're more of a traditionalist, we also have some classic curvy jugs in a variety of designs and sizes. From diddy little milk jugs all the way up to big pitchers, we're bound to have something to suit your pouring needs.

Nice Dad?

We've got ya covered for a last minute Fathers Day gift! We dug deep and found the very last bit of paternal print, so there's a few of these I ♥ MY DAD mugs now available.

Pick one up from Stokes Croft China, or order online and have it delivered straight to Dad's door!

TALK CLUB x SCC

Check out our recent commission for Talk Club, a behaviour-changing movement aimed at getting men to talk more openly about their thoughts, feelings, and worries. They want to create as many safe and confidential spaces across the UK where men can meet regularly to talk, and listen to each other, so at this very moment two runners are on their way from the top to the bottom of Wales, taking One Million Steps to raise the funds.

Insulate Britain are campaigning for the UK government to insulate our housing stock, as an essential immediate step in dealing with the climate and ecological emergency. If the government does not act then acts of high level civil disobedience will follow. To encourage a deeper understanding of the long tradition of civil resistance, Chris Hedges will speak about this prophetic tradition, drawing upon his first hand experience of uprisings and revolutions during the latter part of the last century. Arts and Homelessness Global South Get-together

Arts & Homelessness International have spent the last five years creating a global network of arts and homelessness, however most of these projects are located north of the equator.
