WORLD TRAILS G7 SUMMIT
A Special Trails Talk Session in the Framework of the G7 Cornwall Summit

Join us on Friday, June 11, 2021, 11.30 UTC, to discuss with our global panel of trail experts on current impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on trails, and future opportunities towards recovery and sustainable development: How are trails reconnecting people to nature, contributing to addressing post-covid mental health issues, mitigating against climate change, and helping to carve out a path to recovery?

The G7 policy priorities are:
  • the global pandemic recovery and resilience against future pandemics
  • future prosperity through free, fair trade
  • climate change and biodiversity preservation
  • championing our shared values
This event is included in the official G7 Fringe programme. On the side of the official G7 Meeting in Cornwall, G7 Fringe is gathering people and ideas that 'might just change the world'. While leaders will be making decisions on the big challenges facing our world, community representatives, entrepreneurs, activists, artists etc. will be focusing on suggestions on the radical changes needed to make a fairer, greener, place out of it.

This virtual, free, one-hour event is co-hosted with the South West Coast Path Association. Our global panel will include the following trail experts:
