Fantastic Fridays - we are reopening another day

Dear Supporter

We wanted to let you know that we are reopening another day a week so in addition to 

  • Osteopathy with Jo 
  • Acupuncture with Fatima or Esperanza
  • Foothealth with Jennifer or Paula 
We are now offering 
  • Reflexology with Paula (monthly clinic)
  • Aromatherapy/ Swedish/ Lymphatic drainage massage with Maria 
On Fridays starting from the 25th June 
We  have Rosemary returning to do aromatherapy massages soon as well .

This is in response to requests via the survey - if you haven't filled it in please do so we know what to concentrate on bringing back next. here 

What does it cost?
It depends on your age (after the initial consultation *£36.00 )

** plus in clinic one off charge of £8.50 for reusable nail kit you keep.  £15 price also applies to home visits for people unable to get out.

The Posh Club are back 

The Posh Club is a 3 hour seated event with cabaret entertainment, tunes, dancing, afternoon tea, wine, attentive Posh service, raffle and all the trimmings. 
Wednesdays from 9 June - 11 August 2021

Looking for walking motivation or seeking inspiration to diversify your walking routes, meet new people and find an enjoyable way to stay active.... then visit: https://hackney.gov.uk/walking and go to our Walkingtogether section for weekly health walks, walks of interest and more. 

The walks of interest programme resumes from 17 July, including an exciting Step into Shoreditch trilogy. This includes fascinating stories from back in the day to current developments of exciting developments in the area. 

New Age Games 

The New Age Games is a sport and physical activity programme for Hackney residents aged 50 and over. It can help users increase the amount of exercise they do and sustain it, contributing to a healthy lifestyle. Fit 4 Health - Exercise after Stroke Scheme

Fit 4 Health – Specialist Exercise after Stroke scheme is an established free community based service designed to meet the long-term effects of stroke and the varied and wide-ranging exercise needs of stroke and TIA sufferers. 

Sessions are to take place at Britannia and Kings Hall Leisure Centre's.

We would like to thank Independent Age for awarding us with a grant towards our reopening

Over the past year, @IndependentAge has supported 262 organisations to a total of
£3.3million through their Grants Fund, helping organisations across the UK support

And  we would like to thank Hackney Giving for awarding us a grant to support with Covid information.  This will fund phone calls to people not on the internet , a newsletter and we will be able to share the latest information re Covid - vaccination centres  on our website and by email.
