Dear members and friends,
Since 1921 the St. George’s Society of Toronto has been assisting students achieve their career goals through higher educational endowments at universities and colleges across the city.
The Society's educational endowments provide bursaries to undergraduate, graduate, and international exchange students studying in various fields, including British history, physical education, nursing, and philosophy.
We proudly present to you some of the accomplishments of our Education Committee led by Ms. Shokheen Singh.

University of Toronto
The St. George's Society of Toronto Endowment Fund is for undergraduate or graduate students of the university with demonstrated financial need.
There is a $1 million endowment for students enrolled in eight federated colleges and divisions, and a $200,000 Endowment for students in the Faculty of Nursing.

York University
The St. George's Society of Toronto Endowment for Graduate Student Award is a $720,000 endowment for research in British culture (ie. English language and literature, history, art, science, social and political science, geography, environment) at the university.

|
Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in British Studies, Nursing, and Health Sciences, as well as exchange students from the United Kingdom have benefitted from it over the years.

OCAD University
St. George’s Society of Toronto Bursary in Art & Design in Honour of Rosalie Sharp, is a $320,000 endowment for exchange students from the United Kingdom, graduate students and mature students.

Ryerson University
The St. George's Society of Toronto Endowment Fund is a $260,000 endowment In honour of former Ontario Premier, Bill Davis, for students entering the Masters’ program in Public Policy and Administration.

Wycliffe College
The St. George's Society of Toronto Endowment Fund is a $50,000 endowment for students enrolled in the Masters of Theological studies Programme who contribute to community development.

Ryerson University Venture Zone
More recently, the Society has become the Founder Member of the Ryerson Venture Zone RVZ Entrepreneur Fund, which provides training, mentorship, space, and purpose-built programming to support new Canadians and visible minorities in Brampton and the GTA as they build their new ventures.
