JUNETEENTH 2021
The 17th Annual Albany Juneteenth Celebration hosted by the African American Cultural Center of the Capital Region will be held on Saturday, June 19 from noon - 5:00 PM on S. Pearl Street. This free event brings the community together to commemorate slavery’s abolition in the United States while celebrating South Pearl Street’s vibrancy. Enjoy a wide variety of vendors, live music, art exhibitions, and more.
Learn more about the event here.
LAST CHANCE TO CHIME IN
Here's your last chance to win one of three Downtown Albany Gift Cards, valued at $100, $75, and $50 (and redeemable at 40 locations)! We've put together a brief survey to find out how the community is engaging with Downtown, all so that our businesses can plan how to best serve you. It will take just a few moments, and you can take the survey here before it closes tomorrow (and thank you).
TRI-COUNTY TIP-OFF
Discover Albany, Discover Saratoga and Discover Schenectady want you to show your support for your favorite restaurants in Albany, Saratoga, and Schenectady Counties from June 1 to June 30 with the Tri-County Tip-Off Challenge. Just enjoy a meal from a local restaurant, take a photo of your receipt and tip, and submit on the website to participate. At the end of the month, the county with the most tips wins, and all participants will be entered to win one of three prize baskets worth a total of $300.
