Dear Community,
The REENTRY times have begun! We will mindfully, and joyfully be shepherding each other and our community into these reopening times.
This Friday night we have a special PREPARATION for Reentry Shabbat - June 4th 7pm on Zoom. This Shabbat will mark this new transition time in all of our lives. We warmly encourage you to safely connect with others and gather in small groups in backyards/porches/where you are comfortable and together connect into the Zoom Shabbat. It is good to begin the re-gathering and to do so one layer at a time. We will continue to offer live streaming of our services in the future even when we are in person.
We are excited to share that we will have a new home for our services! St Paul’s Commons in Echo Park (where we were last Rosh Hashanah) directly across from Echo Park Lake. The space has both indoor and outdoor seating which is ideal as we move ahead in these times and they have been incredibly kind and welcoming to us. This is where we will have our re-opening Shabbat on June 18 and where we will be for Shabbat going forward. We continue to have a strong partnership with the SIJCC and look forward to continued collaboration. Registration information for the June 18 Shabbat coming in next week’s email.
Much more below about offerings and our new location. Blessings of reopening and reentry in the spiritual timing that works for you,
The Nefesh Team
