Dear Friend,
As travel slowly resumes, more YWAM locations are contacting MBI for volunteer help—and we’ve recently welcomed a couple of new partner locations! Here are some mission-building possibilities for you to consider:
Aruba (Caribbean) – YWAM Aruba
YWAM Aruba was born out of a God-given vision and answers to particular prayers. The staff team envisions healthy and robust families in Aruba, so the heart of their mission is to help restore God’s love at that fundamental level. From language classes for refugees to marriage counseling to rehab initiatives to summer Bible schools, YWAM Aruba is reaching deep into its community with the love of Jesus. They need year-round help from volunteers willing to assist with building their campus and ministries. So go! Explore and grow the gifts and talents God has given you! Impact local neighborhoods through evangelism and practical ministry, or help host outreach teams, providing them with an unforgettable experience. Transform your life by serving others!
Mexico – YWAM El Paso/Juarez
YWAM El Paso/Juarez invests in the local community through a variety of ministries and outreaches. Their children’s home, Rancho Los Amigos, and their training and outreach facilities are located in Juarez, Mexico. The facility currently houses 26 kids as well as visiting teams and students of their YWAM training schools. Rancho Los Amigos provides love, protection, a clean home, good meals, and education for children growing up in difficult situations, primarily in the Juarez area. You can help them “Reach, Raise, and Restore” needy and hurting children by volunteering to help with video production, digital marketing, groundskeeping, facility maintenance, general labor, carpentry, and painting. You may also help with office work, accounting, and communications at their administration office in El Paso. You will love serving with these YWAMers!
The U.S.A. – YWAM Discovery Bay
Is your RV fired up and ready to go, but you’re still looking for a place to park it? Here's your opportunity to lend a hand at the YWAM Discovery Bay camp on Washington’s beautiful Olympic Peninsula! Founded in 2002, Discovery Bay is a well-established, RV-ready campus with a ministry focus on frontier missions, multi-generational training, networking with local churches and organizations, local community service, King’s Kids, mentoring young leaders, and hospitality. Go and help them with cooking (as a full-time or seasonal cook), renovations, groundskeeping, carpentry, remodeling, facilities maintenance, and painting. You can also help with canning towards the end of the summer—and they have a leaky roof that needs replacing. What’s on your “things I can do” list?
Visit our website at https://www.missionbuilders.org/explore/ for more opportunities. (Check with your local ‘.gov’ websites for Covid restrictions to make sure you can travel and return home.) Then fill out the short online application and get ready to GO!
