Subject: Discussing the Study made for Scouts Australia - ‘Resilient Youth 2019’
Tuesday 29 June, start time: 1.00pm
To be held in the Anzac Memorial Auditorium
Hyde Park South, Sydney 
RUSI members and members of the public will be able to attend this lecture (with social distancing).

You may pre-order a plate of sandwiches for $8, by using the pre-booking option or call our office or email by 12.00pm on the Monday before the lecture. The sandwiches will be ready at 12.00pm at the Auditorium.

About the speaker: Neville has been Chief Commissioner of Scouts Australia, NSW Branch since 1 August 2016. As Chief Commissioner, of the ACT Branch, Neville led a successful reform program to arrest the decline in membership and to achieve real growth. 
Neville has also taken various initiatives to raise the profile of Scouting, and to establish strong links with the Federal and ACT Governments, as well as with businesses and the community. He also led the rebuilding of Camp Cottermouth following its near destruction by fire in 2003.
As International Commissioner, Neville’s vision was “An International Experience for All Members of Scouts Australia”. In so doing he initiated and led an exciting reform program for international Scouting.
Neville is a member of the Australian Institute of Management, the Commonwealth Association of Public Administration and Management and the Australian Institute of Company Director
 

Come earlier to visit the Ursula Davidson Library - visitors are welcome and members can borrow from our historically significant collection.

Free tea and coffee will be available in the Auditorium from 12.00pm.

Visit to Historical Aircraft Restoration Society 
Albion Park Regional Airport

Tuesday 15 June 2021   10:10am - 3:00pm (Approx.)

Senior HARS tour guides will host this visit in groups of 10 (or less) and multiple groups will be formed if required.
Cost: $47.50 includes entrance fee, morning tea and lunch.

Program will commence with Morning Tea at approx. 10:30am
HARS houses one of the largest collections of flying and static historic aircraft in Australia, and its role is the preservation of Australian aviation history.
HARS operates a number of flying ex ADF aircraft including an ex- RAAF Orion/ Neptune/ Caribou/ C47/ Catalina plus ex-FAA Grumman Tracker and Huey.   For a full list of HARS AIRCRAFT see:  www.hars.org.au

Train Timetable:  (PLEASE CHECK THE CURRENT TIMETABLE TO CONFIRM)
From Central to Albion Park Railway Station (APRS) on the South Coast Line:  Depart Central 8:13am and arrive at APRS 10:28am
Return journey:  APRS to Central: Depart APRS 3:14pm - arrive Central 5:04pm
Note: APRS is opposite the airport runway and HARS is a 5 min walk from the station.
 
By Car: address is 54 Airport Rd Albion Park 1 hr 47min drive.  There is free parking outside HARS.
