On behalf of the church fellowship I want to thank all those who have served in the Monday Club as it draws to a close. For many years a small group of people have diligently counted the cash offerings from our Sunday services, on a Monday morning in the Tiger Office (hence the name). The Monday Club is stopping as most of the congregation give online, so there is much less cash to count. The current members of the team are Rolf Lloyd-Williams, David Sayers, Malcolm Springall, Derek Clark and Jean Gorman. We also remember with grateful thanks, many faithful Saints of All Saints who served on this team in the past and have now gone to glory. Stuart Silk, Associate Vicar
Zechariah - Restoring God's People
From Sunday 6 June we'll begin a new teaching series at our morning services from the book of Zechariah. This book is a series of visions set around the time that God's Old Testament people return from exile to begin rebuilding Jerusalem. As we emerge from lockdown, there's a sense in which we are being rebuilt and restored and we long for God's help for that to be shaped by him.
Please watch the overview video, linked below to help you get up to speed with what is quite a complex book with some interesting visions! https://bibleproject.com/explore/video/zechariah/
Family Support Work Stall at Lindfield Charity Yard Sale
As part of the charity yard sale happening around the village on Sunday 6 June, Victoria and Vic are having an FSW stand at 1 The Wilderness from 1.00–5.00pm. The FSW stand will be selling good quality second-hand goods including children’s toys, household items and sports equipment. They also have a cake stall. All in aid of FSW (Family Support Work) – which supports families in crisis across Sussex. It would be lovely to see some supportive faces. Thank you.
For those who sing
This year we have all deeply missed the experience of singing together in worship, and I am exploring how this Autumn we might launch a set of new, rejuvenated singing and choir ministries to serve the worship at All Saints.
I would love your help to explore what might be possible, and so we're holding a short conference on Saturday 26 June from 8.45am –11.00am, in the church, for anyone who may be interested in singing for contemporary or classical worship as part of a choir or singing group. You can visit allsaintslindfield.org/music for more information. At sign up there is an option to 'Register Interest' if you would like to join the discussion but are unable to make the day. This invite is particularly for those who have a passion for singing but, for whatever reason, don't feel the right opportunity has been available so far. Come join us! Chris Steynor, Associate Minister for Music
Welcome Tea
We are holding our first in-person welcome tea for over a year on Sunday 4 July in the afternoon in the Tiger lounge. These welcome teas give people who are new to All Saints a chance to hear more about us and to meet a few members as well as the clergy. If you have started visiting All Saints in the last few months at in-person church services, or watched our services online – we would love the opportunity to get to know you a little better and to share something of what All Saints is all about. If you would like to be invited, please get in touch with the church office (01444 482405) or email: sarah@lindfield.info Sarah Hagger

MISSION
Simon and Becky Lunt
Simon and Becky will be joining us on Sunday 13 June at 4.30pm. Come and hear their news, ask questions about their work among Muslims in N London, and pray for them. All are welcome. Bring your cup of tea and click on the Zoom invitation below. Guy Rowland, Ropeholder
We give thanks and praise God for blessings on ROC – we have continued to see many successful ‘on-line’ ROC Conversations – notably in Reading, Rugby and Preston, bringing together partner agencies with churches and the wider community. These events are making such an impact across the country and we see action groups springing up to take forward the key points into meaningful change in the community.
Pray for the ROC Family Mentoring scheme here in Mid-Sussex – that as we emerge from Covid restrictions that the right families will be referred from our local schools, GP practices and other agencies, for the volunteers who support those families and for Ingrid Skillicorn our Project Coordinator, that God’s love and renewed hope would be brought into the lives of many local families.
Pray for the ROC Family Mentoring programme nationally, give thanks that through the new ‘on-line’ ROC Tele-Mentors and ROC Community Mentoring schemes, ROC is now supporting many more families across the country.
Pray for the ROC leadership team, for Debra Green and also for Paul Wilson who has led the Community Mentoring scheme for the last 10 years and has taken the decision to stand down from ROC. Pray for a smooth transition and for Paul as he seeks God’s guidance as to the way ahead. Paul Wilson
PRAYER
Praying for the Church Family
Please continue to hold in your prayers those known to you who may be especially in need of God's comfort at this time and especially for:
