JUNE UPDATES

JUNE MONTHLY MEMBER MEETING:
Sunday, June 6th at 1pm is an important Monthly Member Meeting. In addition to other announcements, we will be discussing how our delegates will vote at the Convention as well as hear from our nominees. The election to fill our 4+1 positions will open after the meeting ends so attendance is highly encouraged. Please click here to register.

MEMBER SURVEY:
Your participation will help our Growth and Development Committee expand the work of recruiting, retaining, training and mentoring new leaders, and give delegates important insight as they make key decisions at our upcoming Convention. The deadline to take the survey is June 24, and should take about 10-15 minutes to complete. Click here to take the DSA Member Survey.

MEMBER ORIENTATION:
Sun, June 13th at 1pm, join our New Member Coordinator, Keith, as he goes over how our National and Local are organized and integrates new members into upcoming events. Older members are also encouraged to attend as a refresher and to meet our new comrades. Click here to register.

HOBIE ISLAND BEACH CLEANUP:
Sunday, June 13th at 8:30am, join a coalition of groups from across Miami-Dade to clean up one of our beaches as we engage in community outreach and coalition work towards a Green New Deal. Registration is through the county website in line with their rules. Click here to Register.
