Dear friends,

In March, Seed the Commons hosted a historic event that brought together hundreds and marked the globalization of a cohesive social movement for the widespread transition to veganic farming.

Our webinar featured a US-based researcher on the North American veganic movement and two Europe-based leaders of the global Biocyclic veganic farming movement, and was followed by a townhall discussion on how to grow the veganic movement. If you missed it, you can now watch it on Youtube:

How to Grow the Veganic Farming Movement (Webinar and Townhall)

We are excited to now take the next step by expanding the movement into Latin America. Seed the Commons is partnering with a Puerto Rican organization, Casa Vegana, to offer a webinar to activists in Puerto Rico and the rest of Latin America. This Sunday, Seed the Commons co-founder Chema Hernández Gil will give a presentation on veganic farming, especially on why it matters. He will be joined by Damarys Echevarría, a Puerto Rican veganic farmer and vegan wine producer.

This is not a niche topic for those who happen to have an interest in farming or gardening. It is a vital topic for anyone interested in the environment and even more so in animal liberation.

Register here, and help us reach a bigger audience and grow a veganic world by sharing the event with your colleagues in Spanish-speaking countries.

SHARE THE EVENT

Sunday's webinar is currently scheduled to be Spanish-only, but if you would like to volunteer to offer interpretation in Portuguese, French, English or another language, please email us

NEW in the veganicsphere:

We are thrilled to share a new farmer interview on Veganic World, this time with none other than award-winning eco-farming expert Helen Atthowe. Read it here.

Last but not least:

Seed the Commons has no backing from large funders, we are entirely dependent on small donations from individual supporters. If you value what we do, DONATE TODAY.
