The Maximilian Foundation
  Headquarters Update

Welcome Fall!
We have had such an exciting Summer!
Read all about it below!
Here is what has been happening:

Kari and her volunteers have been out at vendor functions this summer and it was great seeing everyone again! National Night Out, Harvey Cedars Hooked on Fishing and Not on Drugs, and Pirate's Day in Barnegat were a huge success!
We handed out a lot of information regarding our new school program, DreamyKid, and the kids (and adults!) had a blast playing our cornhole game.

We are getting ready to open our new Max's Self-Esteem Craft Market at
The Maximilian Foundation Headquarters.
We have been meeting with crafters to get set up to sell their creations! With this new venture, we hope to provide an outlet for anyone who chose to explore their creativity rather than engage in self-destructive behavior either during the pandemic or now!
Using creativity is a great prevention method that aligns with our shared mission.
A notice will go out soon to all of you to let you know the date of our Grand Opening!
100% of all proceeds go to funding programs in our local schools.
What we need right now are
VOLUNTEERS!
If you can lend us some of your time at our Market, we can get this new adventure up and running!
But we can't do it without your help. So if you are interested, please contact Kari @ maximilianfoundation@gmail.com

We continue to work on grants to help our mission of prevention. Sharon, our Grants Administrator, has applied for our latest grant for a program called DreamyKid. This will be presented to the Barnegat Township Board of Education on September 28th. This is a new mindfulness program for our children K-4. It is an innovative mindfulness program that the schools are so looking forward to implementing this year.
The Maximilian Foundation is in discussion with Southern Regional High School regarding continuing our STYLE program. We see great value in the STYLE program and its focus on Student-led workshops and themes such as bullying, drug prevention, peer pressure and body image.

We are also looking forward to supporting Project Aware this school year, COVID permitting.

Scholarships will once again be available to SRHS seniors as they embark upon their higher education.

We are so very thankful to all of those who have supported our mission throughout the past seven years and continue to do so! And we welcome all new friends as we are constantly looking to build new relationships within our community. We are hopeful that you will be able to assist us with your generous support through donations and volunteering or just spreading our mission of prevention!!!
