There will be picture stations along the fence for photo ops immediately following the certificate distribution. All parents must exit the field on time for the next class’s ceremony to begin! See this invitation for all details on this special event!

Also, if you haven't yet picked up your 4th grade yard signs, all remaining signs will be moved to school and available for one final pick up at the 4th Grade Certificate Ceremony! Please remember to grab one! We can't wait to see even more signs displayed around town celebrating our graduating Bears!

BEAUMONT HSA "THANK YOUS" AND REQUESTS
The Beaumont HSA is incredibly appreciative of the support, hard work, and dedication of ALL of our volunteers and family members. We realize that so many people help our school community in so many different ways each and every day. We are very grateful as we truly couldn't do it with your support!

The HSA wanted to take a moment to recognize the exceptional efforts of a few volunteers who have gone above-and-beyond in the help they have offered to the BES community this year:

  • Amanda Bailey - "Stock the Cupboard"
  • Jean Capurro - Yearbook
  • Cara Rash - BES Garden and Outdoor Beautification Initiatives
  • Laura Reilly - Yearbook
An additional special thanks goes to our outgoing HSA Board Members: Alicia Mendicino, Erin Monast and Sara Vose; all of the dedicated Homeroom Parents; and the 4th Grade Graduation Committee (Susie Bernholdt, Jean Capurro, Jen Licate, Becky Ormsbee, Jamie Preston, Laura Reilly and Lisa Schwarcz).

Beaumont's Home and School Association relies on its volunteers to help further the mission of the HSA and support the school and its families. Committee Chairs serve as the heads of individual committees and report to the Executive Board of the HSA. We are currently searching for Committee Chairs for 2021-22. Many positions require two or more volunteers, so you will never be "alone!" If you'd like more information about a committee before signing up, please email
beaumontelementaryhsa@gmail.com. Click here to volunteer.

SUMMER MATH AND READING PACKETS
Each year, Beaumont provides extra practice opportunities for our students to complete over the summer as a voluntary activity. Many students complete all or parts of the packets to keep their skills fresh over the summer. These reading and math packets for Kindergarten through 3rd grade are on the Schoology group 'Elementary Enrichment and Practice Materials' and will be available on June 1. Our current 4th grade students will be added to the Middle School Summer Assignments Schoology Group also available June 1.

In addition to these packets, we encourage the students to continue independent reading, summer journaling, visiting community library programs, writing letters to family and friends, and finding many chances for outdoor play and exploration. Also, authentic tasks like counting coins, adding the prices of items at the grocery store, measuring the rooms in the house or places in the yard, playing board games, hunting for geometric items around the house, and telling time (and elapsed time) throughout the day help to keep math skills sharp too!

Have a wonderful summer, Beaumont!

Note: since iPads will be collected on the last day of school, please use these directions to access Schoology over the summer.

Access Schoology from an Internet Browser or iPad:
