Dino ♥ NZXT

At DinoPC we love clean, easy to use, beautiful cases which is why we had to get hold of NZXT's iconic H Series. The H series have a patented cable management system, removable fan mounting brackets and quick access making the perfect build quicker and easier.

To keep things cool in the summer months we've also stocked up on NZXT's excellent Kraken AIO liquid coolers. Available in 240, 280, and 360mm variants, Kraken coolers feature fine nylon mesh sleeves to strengthen the tubing and user friendly controls through NZXTs CAM software.

Dino Loves - NZXT H510

The NZXT H510 is a very popular case, and for good reason. Minimal styling, but still with a nice glass side window to show off the components, the distinct lack of visible protrusions gives a clean and simple look. It was exactly the case I was looking for.

Installation was a breeze with the easy to remove right-side panel and plenty of room for neat cable runs. I originally had two SSD’s mounted on the back, and a single HDD in the bottom tray which made some of the cable runs a little tighter than I would have liked, but I swapped an SSD for an M.2 drive which helped.

Moving from a quiet Fractal Design Define case I was a little concerned about noise but needn’t have worried. The H 510 was already quiet with the supplied NZXT 120mm fans in the top and rear in a negative air pressure set up, but I managed to knock off a few decibels with a lower speed BeQuiet SilentWings 140mm fan in the top.

One common complaint with this case is the single USB-A port on the front top, but I obviously use USB less than most because it really hasn’t been a problem! My Mobo doesn’t support the front USB-C so a future upgrade will need to sort that out.

The H510 does not have the vertical GPU riser or the NZXT lighting unit of the H510i, but that was fine with me and saved some cash for another upgrade.

Overall, I’m still very happy with this case, and can see myself keeping it for some time.
