Most of us have some not-quite-perfect paintings that face destruction or painting over. Feel the thrills and chills as Mark attempts a daring rescue, without a net or finished piece to copy, dramatically improving an old painting from the field before your very eyes!

Monsarrat reveals the process of self-critique for design, value and color, applying the finest art principles as he whips his “problem painting” into great shape! Time permitting, he will rework a second piece as well! Demo in oils, conducted over Zoom.

Create & Collaborate
Tired of working alone? We at Frank Bette are too. You are invited to join a Create & Collaborate monthly group at the center. We want to encourage social interaction and a sense of community after prolonged isolation. We also want to foster some collaboration. Artists will be working on their own projects (drawing, painting, collage, knitting, mixed media, jewelry, polymer clay, etc) but can ask for advice or feedback from others in the group. Monthly sessions will last 1-2 hours. Participants must be vaccinated and members of Frank Bette Center. We will pass the hat for donations to keep the lights on. Interested?
