Dear Colleagues,

Earlier this week our North Carolina hospital clients received a letter from the North Carolina Attorney General's office, asking for verification that the hospitals are in compliance with the new price transparency laws.  Fortunately, for all HPS hospital clients, they are 100% compliant.







In particular, the Attorney General is asking for a response by the end of June in which hospitals provide specific links to their machine-readable file and their CMS-defined shoppable services.






Expect to see more letters like this from states' Attorney Generals in addition to increased enforcement by CMS.
