Email Update from Rueben Berg

This is an email update from Rueben Berg, elected representative for the Metropolitan Region of the First Peoples' Assembly of Victoria (FPAV). The FPAV is the elected voice for Aboriginal people and communities in future Treaty discussions.

The next chamber meeting of the Assembly will be on June 17 and 18. You can find the Agenda for the meeting here: https://www.firstpeoplesvic.org/news/june-assembly-chamber-program-17-18-june-2021/

Given we are not able to do the planned face-to-face engagement, I am doing an online engagement this month. I will be hosting a Zoom session for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Peoples to hear an update about the FPAV and Treaty process. It is also an opportunity to directly ask questions, share your thoughts, and have discussions on Treaty related matters
