It's all hands on deck starting Sunday at 2 p.m. to help with set construction and decorating the halls to the theme "Prophets of the Mediterranean" for the return of Crosspoint's annual Camp Create.
The creative arts camp for kids entering 1st through 6th grade officially starts on Monday, but the work to transform the church into a Mediterranean adventure has already started. There will be something for all skill levels and a number of pre-made art pieces to hang on walls.
Help also will be needed next Saturday after the week of 'pirating' to reset the church for the following Sunday service.
Camp Create is free and open to the community. Online registration will close at 10 a.m. Monday. Late registration must be done in-person.
Father's Day to include child dedications & baptisms
Crosspoint Church will be combining a couple of celebrations on Father's Day, Sunday, June 20, including child dedications and baptisms.
Child dedications are simply an acknowledgement of the parent(s) commitment to raise their child in a Christian home and the church's commitment to come along side the family in support of that journey. Contact the Kid's Ministry Leader Heather Cagnato sign up.
Baptism services will also be held for anyone who has accepted Christ as their personal Savior and wants to take the next step in declaring their faith publicly. Contact Pastor Israel Cox to discuss more.
Registration open for women's summer Bible study
Crosspoint's Women's Ministry will be hosting a summer Bible study from June 23 to July 21, with optional ways to participate.
"We know that life is busy - especially during the summer with vacations and all," said Triplett, a Women's Ministry leadership team member. "It's hard to find one night a week that fits most schedules, so we wanted to give women an option that still helps them be study the word of God and have meaningful conversations."
The Google Classroom will provide resources and a means to have discussion throughout the week, whether you are able to attend in person or not.
Childcare will be provided each Wednesday. Registration is required for in-person and online formats.
