Our Life with the Lord and Mass Intentions for this Week
Bishop Brennan has lifted the dispensation from attending Lord’s Day and Holy Day Mass. So the obligation to attend Mass on Sunday (Saturday evening) and Holy Days of Obligation is binding. As has always been the case, those who have a serious reason are exempt from attending Mass (ill, have significant health risk factors, or care for someone who is immuno-compromised or ill, as well as those who have significant fear or anxiety of contracting the coronavirus in a large group of persons). These persons should observe the Lord’s Day by way of prayer or watching a live-stream Mass. Live-stream Masses do not fulfill the obligation for the persons who are able to gather for Mass.
June is the Month of the Most Sacred Heart

Ten Practical Things You Can Do During the Month of the Sacred Heart

  1. Hang an image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in your home.
  2. Enthrone the Sacred Heart in your home. Click here to learn more
  3. Learn about the 12 Promises and seek to live out your faith in a new way!
  4. Pray the Prayer of Total Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus by St. Margaret Mary.
  5. Be willing to be a vessel of love and reparation on behalf of others. As so many offend and dethrone our Lord let us be inspired to honor Him in our daily prayers and actions.
  6. Pray a Novena to the Sacred Heart beginning on June 2nd- June 10.
  7. Pray the Daily Prayer to the Sacred Heart and share this prayer with others.
  8. Honor the Feast of the Sacred Heart with a family fest. This can include a family meal and inviting others to celebrate the Kingdom of Love.
  9. Attend and or view the Sacred Heart Webcast www.SacredHeartwebcast.com.
  10. Share the devotion with others- spread hope and healing to the world through the Heart of Jesus!
