Hello, friends! I nearly didn't send a newsletter today. It seemed like it would just be a distraction from all of the book work that I was supposed to be doing but hadn't. I finally sat down and spent a few hours on it today. I made good progress through some of the more difficult tasks. I need to keep that momentum up.

Life has gotten in the way of it a lot lately, and I'm way behind where I hoped to be. I know that this is a thing that pretty much every author goes through, but I don't like it. The guilt of not meeting my commitments makes it harder to get started, so I just fall further behind. My goal is to finish with the review feedback by the weekend so that I can finish the chapter I had been working on. Let's see how that goes..

Now you see me

I'll be participating in a panel on cross-project collaboration at openSUSE Virtual Conference. The panel is at 2pm Eastern on Friday, 18 June. Registration is free.

Last week I presented the "Stop Writing Your Own Infrastructure" lightning talk at LISA21.
