Come and see this pair of special cars at the British Motor Show 19th-22nd August 2021. The one one the right is the 1968 London to Sydney Marathon MGB, driven by Jean Denton and Tom Boyce.
On the left, a one off 1977 Queens Silver Jubilee Special rarely seen. This car is still showing less than 4000miles on the clock. With its special decals, this car was a great prize in a charity raffle.
We will have more news on the 'Blue Bullet' next month !!

2021 Spring Run *Postponed*
|
|
Unfortunately this event has been pushed into 2022. With the easing of restrictions being put back to July 19th we have cancelled this event for 2021.
Due to other events being delayed, the calendar of events for later in the year is very busy so realistically the earliest we can re-schedule is Spring 2022.
So the MGB Spring Run 2022 is now Sunday 10th April 2022.
We hope you understand and will agree with our decision.

21 Again!
I am the original owner and purchased it on 10/12/1972 from Redding Imported Motors in Carlisle, Pennsylvania for $3743.00.
I am 69 years old and have owned MG's for 54 years, having this car restored and back on the road makes me feel 21 again!!

Episode 60: The revival of Ridgard seats
Bob Ridgard was one of motor racing's innovators. A driver himself, racing MGs and even a Chevrolet Camaro, he moved to the UK from South Africa in the late - 60s and began developing seats for club racers. His seats went on to be used by the likes of Stirling Moss and works teams like the BMC / BL operation in Abingdon. They were inextricably linked to the development of driver safety in motorsport through the decades. Bob sadly passed away, but now his business is in new hands and joining us at the Triumph and MG Weekend. We meet the new lady at the helm, Sam Browne - a pretty handy racing driver in her own right.

MGB GT: GDE 897E
Hello MGB Register
This is my 1967 MGBGT and I was wondering if anyone within your membership could shed some light onto the early years of this vehicle. Registration plate GDE 897E. Distinctive features are that it is an early model, no reversing lights, black vinyl interior with green piping to seats and trim. The plate is for Pembrokeshire. I have had it restored but I believe someone had a go in the 90's as well as it had a metallic green colour when I got it.
So, if anyone knows maybe the actual garage that may have sold it, any of the previous owners, (twelve in total) there must be a story or two, photos and how it ended up in Lincolnshire prior to our purchase in 2013 it would be interesting to know.
Kind regards,
Andrew and Alison Jones
