It is because of these factors and your willingness to support Mount Olive's COVID guidelines that our new protocols include the following, along with the reminder that we wear masks not for the sake of ourselves, but for the health of others:
- Mount Olive is a mask/no mask judgement-free zone.
- If you have been vaccinated and would rather not wear a mask, you don’t need to. If you are vaccinated and still wish to wear one, please do.
- If you have not been fully vaccinated, we encourage you to continue to wear a mask and to please consider vaccination, especially as a way of preventing variants from developing.
- We ask all of the community, whether vaccinated or not, to remain at home if you have COVID-like health symptoms: fever, sore throat, cough, etc.
- We will continue to observe physical distancing during worship and when meeting with others.
- We have always said that everyone is welcome. Now more than ever, let’s live into that.
The next time you are at Mount Olive, you will see the following information posted on the doors:
- Welcome to Mount Olive Lutheran Church
- We are a mask/no mask judgment-free zone. Masks are voluntary but strongly encouraged for anyone unvaccinated, including children over the age of 2.
- We will continue with physical distancing during worship and when meeting with others.

Grief Support
Grief can and does enter our lives in a huge variety of ways. You are invited to attend either one of these groups for very informal discussions in a safe place and supportive environment. Please feel free to call if you would like further information, login Zoom info, or have any questions: Betty Hinkelman @262 662 0205 (home) or 262 366 0640 (cell).
- Monday Group: This group meets monthly in person at Mount Olive in the Fellowship Hall on the last Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. June’s date is Monday, June 28th.
Other Opportunities
Are you looking for a space to open to the wonder of God through the Scriptures and prayer? Please consider these two offerings led by Betty Hinkelman. No prior experience necessary, contact Betty for details and Zoom log-in information. If you have interest, but these require alternative times, contact Betty as well.
- Centering Prayer -- will meet on June 28th at 11 a.m., in person and via Zoom.
Care Needs As the pandemic continues and there is much uncertainty in our lives and communities, please know that Mount Olive is a resource for you to draw on. Please contact Pastor Scot, Debbie in the Mount Olive office or Cindy Dobberke if you find yourself in need.
