ABOUT THE PANELISTS
Dane Stivers, PE, is a Chief Electrical / Mechanical Engineer at Klingner with almost 20 years of successful electrical, mechanical, and chemical process designs for industrial clients. Dane has served in key roles in heavy manufacturing, chemical, and utilities industries before joining Klingner. He also served for over ten years as engineering manager and plant engineer for both a heavy manufacturing and a major chemical manufacturing company – giving him intimate knowledge of industrial requirements. Dane is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois and Iowa. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Bradley University.
Alan Balzer, PE, has been a Structural Design Engineer with Klingner & Associates, P.C. since 2015. He specializes in the design and coordination of industrial manufacturing facilities, as well as riverfront loading facilities. Alan uses his technical expertise to provide in-depth designs, special inspections, and reports for his clients — ensuring the projects are adhering to the building codes and ordinances. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri - St. Louis / Washington University, and he is licensed in Illinois, Missouri, and Iowa.
