Dear All

Some more press requests and we would please request you to participate if these apply to you.

  1. Sky News
(please respond to this as Sky News have not really covered the building safety crisis too much, and this is a good opportunity to raise awareness among their audience).

Deadline – Saturday 26 June

“I am Charlotte Lomas-Farley, a news correspondent at Sky News. I have worked extensively on the Grenfell Tower fire, focusing on the human impact of the tragedy. I am interested in looking at the cladding scandal and how the situation has changed – or not – over the past 4 years. I am particularly keen to examine the impact of the government’s pledge of £3.5bn in February.

For my report, I will need to speak to people affected by the cladding scandal and who are willing to tell their story to me on camera. I appreciate this might be daunting but you can be assured that it is all pre-recorded, (so you can stop and start again) and you will be guided through it.

Myself and a camera operator will visit you at home to get an idea of your situation. Please get in touch if you are happy to be a part of this report or to ask me any questions. My contact details are below.

Thanks so much in advance,
Charlotte

  1. The Telegraph

Is your freeholder the council? Are you facing an increased buildings insurance premium as a result of fire safety issues in your block?

If the answer to both questions is yes, please contact Sophie Barnes on sophie.barnes@telegraph.co.uk

Deadline: Saturday 26 June.

  1. The Spectator today has a very good article on the mafia like behaviour of the large housebuilders building defective homes, and the article also focuses on the building safety and cladding crisis. The article is here: https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/the-house-mafia-the-scandal-of-new-builds (if you have trouble accessing it, you can register for free and read 5 articles a month)

If you are on twitter, please retweet and share this: https://twitter.com/FraserNelson/status/1407960683958898688

We would request ALL of you, if you have a Conservative MP, to email them with a link to the article and a short note about your personal situation. Ask them to vote to support you rather than these rogue housebuilders.

Please share this link with friends, family, neighbours, and ask anyone you know who has a Conservative MP, to write to their MP with a link to the article and a request to support the victims of the building safety crisis, rather than the perpetrators.

Many thanks
Ritu and Will
