The Times they are a-changin: Summer Services at All Saints
From Sunday 25th July our Sunday service times will be reverting to something more similar to our pre-Covid pattern:
8am Communion remains unchanged, meeting every 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday
9.30am will be returning initally as "All Saints Kids & Friends"; six all-age services running through the summer holidays
11.15am will return to the pre-covid service that was renewed in September 2019
6pm will remain unchanged for now; watch this space for updates in September.
We'd love to see you back with us in person to worship together. Some may not yet be able to, so our plan is to continue to live-stream only our 11.15am service as a "catch up" service.
It's our hope that All Saints Kids groups will return at our 9.30am services from Sunday 5th September. Our 3pm families service will be taking a break over the summer holidays, though we're considering whether it may return in September with an outreach focus for families.
Great News for Seniors
We are delighted that we can restart Tiger@Ten on Tuesday 3 August at 10.00 am in the church building. We are really looking forward to meeting together after a long time of separation. Do join us to meet friends old and new! New activities alongside popular favourite ones, and always a warm welcome. We will then meet fortnightly in church, with our Christmas Special planned for Tuesday 14 December.
Opportunity to serve and make a difference
The pandemic has made us all aware of isolation and the need for fellowship. Can you give one morning each fortnight to work alongside us and make a difference? Do you have a heart to serve and express God’s love in social action in our community? We need people who can be part of our lively ministry among seniors, especially drivers willing to collect and return seniors who cannot otherwise access vital Tuesday activities. 13 July Summer Special CANCELLED

Please continue to pray for the Rev Dr Stephen Nichols (Steve) who has been appointed as our new Vicar from September 2021. Steve is married to Katy and they have four children – John (11), Simeon (9), Charlotte (6) and Toby (6). Steve is currently one of the Associate Rectors at All Souls, Langham Place in London.
Steve’s licensing service will take place on Thursday 2 September at 7.30pm –further details will follow once we know more on numbers/Covid regulations.
Pray for the family
· Finishing well at All Souls and saying goodbyes
· Some time for proper rest between jobs
· House move and all the practical arrangements that come with that
· Children school places
· That through all of this they would be assured of God going ahead and making His plans for them

Children's Choir Online Survey
As a part of reviewing our singing ministries we are exploring whether it would be feasible to start a children's choir at All Saints, to meet weekly during term time and serve at some of our services. Thanks to those who have already filled out our online survey: if you are interested but haven't yet told us what you think, follow the link here: https://forms.gle/pKyQd5XycCX59vxY8 Chris Steynor, Associate Minister for Music

National Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast 2021
Last Friday the Bible Society livestreamed the annual Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast. This is available to watch here, and includes a talk by Tom Wright entitled, 'Life Beyond Covid: A Renewed Hope'.
New Beginnings. As we move towards the lifting of government restrictions on gatherings and church activities, please pray for the leadership teams of the Sussex Gospel Partnership churches.
Pray for
Wisdom and imagination as they seek to encourage people back to in-person services, to resume youth and children’s activities safely and to re-start their outreach ministries.
New volunteers to replace those who are no longer available.
Those, whatever their age, who have become detached from church and Christian friends during lockdown.
Those people who have begun to attend church on-line during the pandemic that their faith journey will continue.
Another new beginning. After years of planning, preparation and consultation with local churches, a new church plant is launched in Brighton this autumn. Pray for David Skull and his family as they move from Guilford to lead a church plant in the city. Up to date news can be found at www.graceplantbrighton.org.uk
