NIDUS Delirium Boot Camp 2021
Network for Investigation of Delirium: Unifying Scientists
Calling all junior investigators interested in delirium research!

One month left to submit your application to the 9th Annual NIDUS Delirium Bootcamp; the application deadline is Friday July 23, 2021 @ 5pm.

The 2021 Bootcamp, funded by the National Institute of Aging, will be held live from Sunday November 7th to Tues November 9th at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC.

Please go to: https://deliriumnetwork.org/career-development/ for application instructions, the application form, and the detailed information about the 2021 Bootcamp program.

The over-arching goal of the Bootcamp is to develop a multidisciplinary pipeline of well-trained translational, epidemiologic, and clinical delirium researchers through an intensive 2.5 days of mock grant reviewers, multiple interactive didactic sessions (covering a wide range of topics relevant to all areas of delirium research), in-depth training on the CAM (and its related short-forms tools) and networking sessions on multiple career-development topics.

While the Inter-Relationship between Delirium and Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementia (ADRD) is the theme for the 2021 Bootcamp, the interdisciplinary programming is wide-ranging and investigators not focused on ADRD-related outcomes are encouraged to apply.

Please spread the word to your colleagues and trainees.

Thank you –

Jan Busby-Whitehead, MD
