  • Meal Train: One of the ways we care for people at WestWay is through meals. Specifically, we use Meal Train. Meal train allows us to share a calendar of needs and answers questions in advance like: If you would like to receive a notification by text when needs are available, please text the word Meals to (308) 252-3273 and we'll add you to the list.
  • Gering Senior Center: They are looking for individuals who would be willing to deliver meals the center has prepared to seniors in the valley. It would be one day a week from 10:30am-12:30pm. If interested please contact Lucille Cooper at 308-250-2333.
We have such a tremendous opportunity to go before God during this time and lift up our community, nation and world in prayer. We'd love for you to pray in these and other ways:
  • Pray for the family and friends of Warren Thomas as he passed away on June 20, 2021.
  • Pray for the students and sponsors who will be going to CIY and camp this month.
  • Pray for those affected in our community by COVID-19.
  • Pray for healthcare workers as continue to provide care to our community.
  • Pray for our local, state, and national leaders to be filled with wisdom from God and surrounded by people who demonstrate this wisdom.
  • Pray for patience, mercy, and grace for one another as we engage our community in new ways.
  • Pray for the missions WestWay supports. Our missionaries are operating under the same, if not more difficult, circumstances we are.
  • REMEMBER- God is in charge. The times in which we live  have not caught God off guard. This is a huge opportunity for us to remain calm, hopeful, and to demonstrate love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control to a world that clearly needs it.
  • We want to pray with and for you. Please click here and let us know how we can.
