Please join us via Zoom for Attracting Birds and Butterflies to Your Garden with Master Gardener Jennifer Knutson. Fill your landscape with a variety of seed and nectar-bearing plants and you will fill it with hummingbirds, songbirds, and butterflies. Information will be provided on how you can attract more birds and butterflies to your gardens by creating a suitable habitat.

The Brainerd Book Club will meet outside on the library's 'front lawn' (by the musical instruments) on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at 1 pm for our next book discussion of The Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead. In case of rain or extreme heat, we'll meet via Zoom instead (register below). “Whitehead brilliantly dramatizes a strand of American history through the story of two boys unjustly sentenced to a hellish reform school in Jim Crow-era Florida." Copies of this book are available at the front desk.

Friends of the Brainerd Library Book Sale†

The Friends of The Brainerd Public Library book sale is open for shopping, at the Westgate Mall, on Tuesdays between 9 am-3 pm. No appointment is necessary. Masks are required for entry.
