Dear friends,
We are very excited to share about our annual Disability Concerns Leadership Training Event 2021:
This event will take place August 11 and 12, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EDT each day.
This year, just like last year, we will host this event completely online. This allows us to extend this event widely across our disability community. If you are interested in participating in some great conversations on the direction of disability ministry for the future, this event is for you!
This year our theme is #WhosMissingInMyChurch.
We will engage in ongoing conversations about developing church communities that create accessible spaces for millennials and Gen Z. This generation has grown up with an education system and public services that understand and respond to their needs, but this has often not been the case in our churches. Join us as we learn together about expanding our capacity to welcome this demographic and make way for many generations to come.
We will continue to update our website with new, exciting information and videos on keynote speakers and panelists. Check back often!
