Plan for Thursday 24th June

Thank you all for your responses to our poll regarding next Thursday – currently we are 24 people.

Is our event going ahead?

Whether we go ahead in person or online is dependent on the weather, so please read options A and B below carefully. Alison will review the weather forecast for Thursday on Wednesday morning and one of these options will happen:

Option A - Forecast: rain

If the forecast for Thursday includes a significant percentage chance of rain then we will cancel the event by email. Please keep an eye on your emails on Wednesday – you will hear from us by 7pm.

We will hold a Zoom AGM at 7.30pm on Thursday 24th and the cancellation email on Wednesday will contain the link to the AGM.

Option B - Forecast: No rain!

The government guidance means we can’t sing, meet or party inside, so the evening will be in the church garden, weather permitting.

In terms of meeting outside, in groups of up to 30, the government website says “instead of instructing you to stay 2m apart away from anyone you don’t live with, you will be encouraged to exercise caution and consider the risks.” Please read the guidance and make your choices about social distancing and mask wearing.
