University/College Recruitment
The pandemic has amplified discussions surrounding students’ mental health, and the wellbeing difficulties faced in University environments, but we understand that these difficulties existed before the pandemic, and will, unfortunately, likely exist beyond the pandemic. Therefore, we’re looking to collaborate with more universities and colleges to provide our Feeling Good App to their students. If your university or college would be interested in getting involved, or you would like to find out more, please get in touch with us via email at Serena@fpmh.org.uk.
We are looking forward to exhibiting at the student conference ‘Student Mental Health: Responding to the Crisis’, now on the 17th November (unfortunately postponed from the 23rd June due to the extended lockdown). Sign up to attend here.
Blogs
Dr Sheila Ross shared her '5 ways to cope with your mental health during the pandemic' with Sustainably during this year’s #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek. Ahead of #WorldWellbeingWeek, we chose to unpack these tips on our blog to emphasise the links between positive mental health and wellbeing.
Also available on our blog is Ben Jones, who leads the Feeling Good for Schools programme at King’s Leadership Academy in Bolton, telling us about the impact of our programme in his school. Watch his short feedback video here.
Good Thinking
We are Good Thinking’s ‘App of the Month’ this June, and our co-founder Dr. Alastair Dobbin featured on the Healthy London Partnership podcast to talk about the Feeling Good app. Listen here.
