1925:
The American Institute of Homeopathy dinner airs live from the Hotel Roosevelt. Speakers include New York Mayor John Hylan and Rev, J.B. Greene, president of the institute. 

1943: Elmer Davis of the Office of War Information reports on the Allied bombing of the Ruhr industrial district in Germany and other parts of Europe. He closes by discussing the coal strike and racial strife in Detroit as part of his Progress of the War series. .

1952: Nicaraguan dictator Anastasio Somoza is welcomed by Mayor Impellitteri at City Hall, where he receives the city's Medal of Honor and a scroll for distinguished public service.

1990:
Carla White, Nancy Harrow, Forever Plaid, Judy Bro, and Paul Balfour join Steve Ross at the Algonquin for this edition of New York Cabaret Nights.

2004: Soterios Johnson looks back on the Stonewall rebellion of June 1969.

1987: Guest host Emanuel Ax interviews Bob Sherman in The Listening Room.
