Leadership Intensive Program 
Semester 2

About the Program
The Leadership Intensives are designed to assist support leaders working in the family violence sector to develop practical leadership and change management skills.

A co-design approach ensures that each program iteration suits the interests and needs of the participants so you will be able to confidently tackle the issues that you and your organisation face.

Past topics have included:
• Trauma-Informed Leadership;
• Strategic & Influential Leadership;
• Feminist Leadership Practices;
• Workforce Development and Planning;
• Collaboration and Partnerships;
• Connecting with Government; and
• Diversity and Inclusion

Additional topics presented previously related to the current operating environment are Leadership in a Time of Crisis and Wellbeing for Leaders.

Previous inspiring speakers from government, academia and the social service sector have included former Victoria Police Commissioner Christine Nixon, renowned feminist scholar Emeritus Professor Pavla Miller, Victoria’s first Gender and Sexuality Commissioner Ro Allen, global wellbeing keynote speaker Dr Michelle McQuaid and the Executive Director of Women with Disabilities Victoria, Keran Howe.

Applications are closing soon for the semester 2 online streams of the Leadership Intensive Program, starting August 2021.

Applications for all streams close Thursday 24th June (COB). Please note that places are limited to maximise the experience for participants.

Cost
This program is fully funded by Family Safety Victoria and is free of charge to eligible applicants who are successful in their application.
In 2021 the Leadership Intensive Program will continue to be delivered in a digital format. We are now seeking applications for semester 2 of the 2021 Leadership Intensive Program. Please note that if you have applied in previous years but not yet undertaken the program, you will need to reapply.
About You
Applicants must be working in a senior leadership role (Tiers 1-3) in family violence prevention or response, or a related sector such as child and family services, homelessness, alcohol and other drugs, financial support and disability services, health, local government, justice and education.

With the program being hosted on a digital platform, FSSI strongly encourages applications from regional Victoria as well as Metro Melbourne.
