We add nothing to the finished work of Jesus. Rather, we live into what He’s already done for us. We stand in His past accomplishments in order to walk into a new future.

Praying Forward...For Schools

Praying for Elementary Schools – The elementary schools of Washington Conference praise God this season for the countless many who support the operation of their local school. From the donors that contribute to worthy student and capital funding, to the volunteers that give of themselves to pitch in and help make things go, our large elementary schools would not be able to conduct such an effective ministry of Adventist education without the loving and active support of a broader church network.

We pray very specifically for the capital needs in our elementary schools. Many of our excellent programs meet every day in schools that are showing their age and need significant capital funding to update the facilities. We are grateful for the many improvements to date and praying about the next phase of school campus improvements.

Praying Forward...for Church Growth

Church Revitalization – Over the past 12 months, we have taken three churches through a revitalization process. One of these churches was averaging 20 in attendance before the pandemic, and they have grown by over 100%. Another church was also averaging 20 in attendance before the pandemic, and they grew by over 200%!

Another church teamed up with local community leaders and helped feed people by giving away hundreds of pallets of food. They even gave a car to a family in need! God has blessed our churches with some of the best pastors in North America. Despite a global pandemic, the Gospel must go forward! Please continue to pray for your local pastor daily by name.
