third Tuesday of every month
we celebrate a full day dedicated to the Lord during our
GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER AND FASTING.

The next GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER AND FASTING will be
Tuesday July 20th
Fasting starts on Monday the 19th at sunset
and concludes on Tuesday 20th at sunset.
As Scripture teaches: “And there was evening, and there was morning;
the first day.” Genesis 1:3

General Thanksgiving
- A very successful missions’ trip to South Africa to teach and train several school teachers and other individuals who would like to be Genesis Design teachers
- The great, positive response to the gospel and an invitation to follow Jesus with all their hearts, souls and minds
- The enthusiastic endorsement of the Pre-Primary Department teachers who underwent the training for implementation in their school. Not just for the pre-primary, but the entire school
- The Lord’s absolute hand of protection on Sylvia and Jos as they travelled by road to Port Elizabeth and back via Jo’burg – negative COVID tests; needed finances; mechanical soundness of the vehicle; reunion with many friends and acquaintances from the past, with family and future ministry partners. God has been so good to them
- Strengthening of family ties with Jos and Sylvia’s daughter, son-in-law and their children, and Sylvia and her family, living in Port Elizabeth
- Enormous amount of in-service training Carmen Potgieter, our SA Representative, received during this time, as she joined the team in Port Elizabeth
- We were received with open arms at the headquarters of the Association of Christian Schools International - South Africa who allowed us to present the Genesis Design curriculum to the Director and his staff.
- This has resulted in three schools contacting us, expressing their desire to become part of the curriculum roll-out by January 2022. We are sure there are more to follow as the curriculum becomes known more and more
- A friend in the USA who can help us to print hard copies of the lessons, at this point in time, for free

OTHER MINISTRY THANKSGIVING OPPORTUNITIES
- In Namibia, the Lord has opened doors for Sylvia to teach the curriculum to the entire high school student body over the next 6 months. The school’s leadership has asked for Genesis Design to be the sole sexual purity curriculum to be taught in their school, beginning now and continuing into the new school year.
- Ongoing help from various sources to help and assist with the completion of the curriculum writing
- Delivery of the ministry car the Lord provided for us. We are very happy to have a ministry vehicle. All funding was provided to purchase, register, and purchase the license. A dear friend and ministry partner paid the full insurance cover for the car too. God is good.
- In the north-east of Namibia, Zeka, our representative, continues to bring the message of Manhood|Womanhood|Sexuality|Marriage untiringly to students, teachers, parents, in fact, anyone willing and ready to listen to the truth that sets free
- This past week he presented the gospel and the Genesis Design message to over 500 students in the area.
- One school actually uses the Choose to WAIT BOOKLETS as a “HANDBOOK” in their skills classes as they have no other teaching aid to use. Students must hand in the books after every class to be available for the next class to use. How good is our God to allow us to see and witness this hunger for the truth
- Carolyn and Caesar continue to serve the Lord whenever they get the opportunity in their various countries. They are also very busy developing new lessons
- The Lord’s continued provision of all our needs and more. What a faithful God He is

INTERCESSION
- Sylvia was tested positive for COVID-19 a week ago. Jos was not tested as he had no symptoms at the time. They are both in isolation and both has recovered significantly. God's people overwhelmed them with their goodness, kindness and generosity
- Please continue to intercede for the overall ministry of Genesis Design and that the leadership will know what the Lord wants them to do and how to do it
- Our great need to find the resources to employ an excellent teacher/trainer/educationalist to help with developing and creating new lessons
- The creation on our website of a “SHOP” or an e-commerce platform, making it possible for potential customers to purchase the materials on-line.
- Shipping of hardcopies to those who purchased materials and want the hard copies and not just soft copies
- The possibility of an IT person to come on board to help us in the marketing and distribution of the materials
- We are still in need of an artist who can deliver drawings age appropriately. Many people want to help but find it difficult to draw the drawings we need to fit the age groups they are for
- The GENERAL situation regarding COVID-19. That the fear many have about the pandemic will be conquered by the love, power and protection of the Holy Spirit. That people will believe the promises of God’s Word
- Suitable dates be confirmed for the various country board meetings to be held over the next 60 days
- Wisdom for our leadership as we are confronted more and more with the reality of a world and its perspective on moral behaviour and sexuality, in particular. Not even to talk of the total lies about gender and the negative effect it has upon society. May the Lord find a remnant, willing to stay pure and undefiled, unwavering to uphold the TRUTH OF HIS WORD.

Each of the 250 students received a free copy of the Choose to Wait booklet after the content was explained to them.
