Hockey SA has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to physical and verbal abuse that is directed at a player, official, spectator or anyone else that is at the ground.
Any audible offensive language used on a hockey pitch will be deemed unacceptable and will be dealt with appropriately.
Poor sideline and on-field behaviour affects everyone. It's important that everyone involved with the club models positive behaviours providing our younger players with some examples to follow.
Spectators are great for the game! Everyone loves playing in front of a passionate crowd. However, some spectators can be a little too passionate and create a scene. Poor sideline behaviour can have a negative effect on the players, our club and the sport.
