As a long-standing member of UTM's Research Council and Biology’s current Associate Chair of Research, Steven brings his thorough knowledge of UTM’s research operations and priorities to the portfolio, particularly in the laboratory sciences. In addition, he has robust experience with major national funding programs, including CFI, NSERC and NFRF, and he has served on several NSERC adjudication committees.

We are about to embark on a major milestone moment in the Office of the Vice-Principal, Research (OVPR): with the departure of Devin Kreuger, Director, Research. For the first time since the OVPR was established in 2003, we will not have Devin’s wise counsel, contributions, and influence guiding all our research-administration efforts. Devin will work his last day on July 31, before easing into retirement and his next great adventure. We are not claiming clairvoyance, but we definitely see some sunrises and tarot-card readings in his future.
We invite people to share their fond memories and also post any pictures they might have of Devin from his time at UTM via this eCard: https://www.kudoboard.com/boards/ZEOvEsf2.
