Dear Bateman Families and Friends,
This afternoon, the fire alarm was triggered and the Chicago Fire Department was called to the building. No emergency took place, the building is all clear, and all students and staff are safe. Unfortunately, the fire alarm system will not silence itself after multiple attempts. Safety and security will continue to work towards a solution. All In-Person students will complete the school day outside in designated learning areas to ensure a peaceful end of the day.
ALL REMOTE LEARNERS WILL CONCLUDE THE DAY ASYNCHRONOUSLY.
More formal communication will be forthcoming. We greatly appreciate your understanding and assistance.
