Tails & Tales Summer Learning Challenge - available now!

Register anytime on our Beanstack site, then read, create and explore for the opportunity to earn prizes! Paper copies of the challenge for those who prefer that are available at the library. Through June our website will host virtual programs with Page Turner Adventures, so check in daily for a fun performance or activity!

We've got lots of new hands-on activity options available for checkout, like Garden kits with tools, seeds, and soil, Doodle Diary Collaborative Art and Story kits, and Small Adventure activity card decks. Plus, coming soon we'll have Break In Bags, which are like an escape room in reverse - solve the puzzles to break in and find treasure! Also available are Grab and Go activity bags (every other week on a first-come, first-serve basis), free outdoor activity books from the DNR, and the best new reads from our chock full New Books section!

Register now for Irvine Park Animal Exploration programs! In collaboration with the Parks, Recreation and Forestry department, we'll be offering two Saturday morning programs for elementary age kids in July. Programs will be held at the Welcome Center in Irvine Park. Space is limited, so register early!

We're so excited to share Storytime in person this summer! All ages fun - bring the whole family for stories, songs, rhymes, games and more! We'll meet at the pavilion just below the bathrooms, weather permitting. Check our website and social media for updates if the weather looks doubtful.
