The Latest!

While we wait to see what the future holds for museum operations past June 30th, we will maintain our current hours, sessions and online reservation system. As children's museums are largely required to follow the same guidelines as schools and child care providers, we assume that our current operations will stay in effect for a while longer. Celebrations and special programs remain on hold until further notice and until we know how we can safely conduct them. Please remember that there are recurring events on our web calendar that are not currently happening. We understand that this not knowing and seemingly sudden changes to operations is frustrating and confusing - it is for us too! We appreciate your support and cooperation as we move ahead.

We've just learned about the Opportunity Council's Emergency Child Care Voucher Program which provides help to those struggling to pay for child care. Parents and caregivers can apply for temporary assistance to help pay for current or past due child care bills and to help alleviate financial crisis. Visit www.ccanorthwest.org/assistance  or call (360) 603-0202 for more information. Thank you!

Be sure to mark your calendars for September 3-11, 2021 when our 18th annual Chair-ity Auction & Dinner will virtually take place! Holding our auction virtually last year was certainly a pandemic-required necessity, but it also proved to be a wonderful way to include a lot more people than our traditional in-person dinner! The virtual auction is free to attend - just create a login so that you can bid when the auction goes live. Our Auction Committee is busy working on all the details like event sponsorship and donated items for the live, silent and dessert auctions. Click here, and bookmark the page, to learn more about this year's event and how you or your business can sponsor!

We’ll continue to post updates on our website, including the Covid-19 page, and on Facebook. If you have any questions, please contact Executive Director Cate Anderson via email: Cate@skagitcm.org or by phone: 360-770-9746.
