Tuesday - Nobody Walks Alone
Ephesians 4:1; 5:1-2

The Christian experience is not a solo venture. We are saved together, as a community, or not at all. Our vertical love relationship with God necessarily results in horizontal relationships of love with one another. Everyone who enters heaven will do so as a member of the body of Christ, not because there is salvation in any denomination, but because salvation inevitably entails living out the God’s love in community.

Praying Forward...For Schools

by Craig Mattson, VP for Education
Praying for Day Academies – Washington Conference operates three day academies and one junior academy. The full 9-12 programs are Puget Sound Adventist Academy, Skagit Adventist Academy, and Orcas Christian School; Lewis County Adventist School is the conference’s one junior academy.

We praise Jesus for the whole person education happening in these schools and as our high school students graduate, they do so holding the Adventist message near to their hearts. We pray for continued funding to support the work and to support the worthy student needs. Many families dream about placing their children in an Adventist school, but they do not because of lack of funding. Our prayer is that we find ways to open our doors to all families who value our ministry and desire to place their children in our schools.

Praying Forward...for Church Growth

by Tyler Long, Evangelism & Church Growth Director
Reaping Campaigns – In the spring of 2020, we had to cancel a conference-wide initiative of over 50 evangelistic meetings. Let me rephrase that: We did not actually cancel, instead we quickly pivoted to streaming evangelistic reaping meetings online by teaming up with It is Written and Amazing Facts. In early 2021, our conference evangelists started conducting in-person, live reaping meetings, and God continues to bless. Pray for the outpouring of God’s Spirit as we continue to share the Good News of Jesus!

Tuesday: A special prayer time
for families & marriages

Thursday: A special time of prayer for health and healing

Wrap up your day with prayer...whether with your church family, at home, or online. Take a moment to reflect: What did God speak into your heart today?

Read and pray your way through the book of Ephesians or your choice of biblical books about the early church. See what parallels you see between the early church and the church today. What can we learn and do as we walk forward with Jesus, together, toward heaven?
