Hi Alpine Athletes!
We are excited to offer a Mt. Hood Camp again this year. Timberline at Mt. Hood has restricted August camps to slalom, so we are pivoting our focus to slalom fundamentals and gates.
Please see the trip sheet attached to the sign up. Team travel and lodging is available on a limited basis, we don’t have room for everyone, but we also know many families are planning to travel with athletes this season which is great. Team travel and lodging is for U14, U16, and FIS athletes only, and only with a current vaccination card. There is still time to get your Covid-19 vaccine and be able to travel with the team. We will have you email a copy of the card to info@sbsef.com, and bring it with you so we have them on hand, in the vehicles.
The coaches and athletes are staying at Collins Lake Resort. We will eat breakfast in the condos, and have lunch and dinner at Huckleberry’s, taking advantage of their athlete buffet. Dryland will take place each afternoon, and video analysis will be scheduled for each group. A packing list will be sent to athletes once they register.
Prices are estimated at this time. The cost could go up or down depending on participation. We have done our best to estimate correctly, based on the interest received. We MUST have a camp registration and a deposit by June 28, 2021 so we can ensure our condo costs are covered, and it gives us a day to cancel a condo if we do not have enough athletes to fill them all.
To register for the camp, log into your www.sbsef.com account, and click on Camps. You will see just one option there. If you are selecting lodging, meals, and transportation for your athlete, choose those options. If your athlete is traveling and lodging with you, there is an option for your athlete to participate in team meals at Huckleberry’s, this is often requested, so we have made it easier to sign up this year.
