Annual Budget supports COVID-19 recovery

Council has adopted an Annual Budget 2021/2022, which continues to support our community’s COVID-19 recovery and invests $82.7 million in capital works, new facilities, roads and open spaces.

This Budget will help shape a better Brimbank through investment in new sporting and leisure facilities, road upgrades, more parks and open spaces, and key sustainability initiatives to protect our environment now and for our future.

This financially responsible budget also invests in the mental health, wellbeing and economic welfare of our residents and community.

We value our community’s feedback on the Draft Budget and thank everyone who made a contribution to help shape the final Budget.

The Budget includes a total rate increase of 1.5 per cent, in line with the State Government rate cap.
