ROCK REVIEW - A look back on an Awesome Nationals
2021 Musto National Championships at Rock was truly one the best Nationals in recent years, even in the shadows of COVID pandemic.  So much positivity came from it, many glorious photographs, videos and a 4-figure prize fund, allowing prizes given to every competitor!  Congratulations to Chris & Nic White, crowned Champions.  If you weren't' there, you missed a treat - If you were you can relive the action...

Fantastic Photographs, taken by Robert Deaves, can still be viewed and purchased at

The Lark Class is now in Instagram
During the Nationals, some of you may have noticed that the Larks joined the Instagram community.  It's a fantastic social media platform built almost entirely around the sharing of images and videos. It now so popular that "Instagramming" is now officially a verb!

If you're not already on the 'gram, then download the app and follow the Lark_Class
Tim Fells is in a reflective mood
Tim Fells is a Lark Legend.  There is no doubt about that. Multiple Nationals Winner when the class held champs with 80+ competitors, back in the 1980s-90s.  Recently he has been distracted by other classes, but after a 24 year absence he completed again in the Nationals at Rock this year.  He has been in reflective mood, writing an article on the Larks and his time in and out of the class.
Check out his article out on the Y&Y website.
In summary he loved the event and still loves the Lark.
Nigel on a Bike!
The greatest Lark sailor never to win the National Championships, Nigel Hufton, has swapped his tiller extension for his bike handle bars and is cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats and raising funds for Dementia UK. A charity that support carers of people with Dementia, who have had an especially tough time in the last year.

Please give his Facebook Page a follow and sponsor his efforts at Just Giving Page for great cause.

Well done Nigel!
