We will be having Communion this Sabbath, June 26 during our regular service.  Plan now to join us for this special time of worship.

Dear Roseville Church Members and Friends,

We were tremendously honored by the turnout for our Farewell Event on the evening of June 12. This was an event that was well worth waiting for. We extend our warmest thanks for your presence, your warm greetings and expressions of appreciation as well as your generous gifts. Our hearts were deeply touched by your tributes and the memories you shared. Please accept our regrets that we didn’t get to talk to all of you. A very special thank you to the team who organized, decorated, and made all the details of this memorable evening possible. You blessed us greatly!

With our deepest gratitude,

Jon and Clara Terry
The Conference sent word that with California's re-opening we can now follow the CDC's guidelines.

Here is what that means for our local church:

1. We are NOT to ask a person’s vaccination status
2. We are to post the CDC mask wearing guidance as attached here
3. There are no limits on capacity
4. There are no physical distancing requirements
5. There is no need for health screenings
6. There is no requirement for extra cleaning methods
7. There are no more restrictions on food except for what local health departments require

We thank you for all that you have done during these difficult times and now let's again enjoy spending time together without restriction.

Prayer Request Corner

Our church members and items to pray about this week:

1.  A 24 hr prayer call is being planned for July 12, 2021 7:00pm - 13th 7:00 pm.  The theme of this prayer meeting is: Jesus being lifted up in our lives, our community, our world.  All believers from every background are welcome to join this special season of prayer where we will seek the Holy Spirit, the success of the sanctuary series coming in August, small groups starting in September and many new guests and members in our congregation and churches around the world.

2.  Medical needs include Doris Sterling, Char Wheeler, Bonnie Applegate.

3.  Praying for our new members and our baptismal candidates.  So exciting to see what God has begun in our midst.

If you have a need or a prayer request for our Prayer Corner, please contact Lanni at our new number 435-777-2200 ID Code 2475855#

- June 26 - Pastor David Resendes
  Offering: Local Conference Advance

- OUT OF OFFICE - Our Administrative Assistant will be on vacation starting June 17 and continuing through June 28, and will only be checking in on the office occasionally. In trying to enjoy time off, but keep things running, Kerri plans to publish our weekly Newspoints while gone but would appreciate it if other church business could wait until she returns.

- SAVE THE DATE -  On Sabbath July 10, plan on arriving at the church early so you can join us for a Fellowship Breakfast starting at 8:30am.  Watch for more details.

- FEEDING MINISTRY - We have partnered with the Placer Food Bank and a Feeding Ministry, to distribute groceries, is getting started soon.  If you know anyone who is in need of food - whether it's due to sickness, loss of job, poverty, or even a temporary situation, please contact the church office so we can get you set up or refer you to the proper agency.  All ages accepted.

- JUNIOR/EARLY TEEN SABBATH SCHOOL is meeting in person starting this Sabbath, June 26 at 9:30am. Zoom will not be used. With most of California's Covid-19 restrictions lifted as of June 15, 2021, the remaining restriction will be that the unvaccinated children wear a mask in the class. We have long awaited getting back to having class in person. Let us celebrate this moment.

- YOUTH SABBATH SCHOOL is meeting in person each Sabbath morning at 9:30am in the Youth Room on the church campus.  This class is for high school age teens who want to connect more closely with God and each other.  If you haven't joined them yet - you are missing out! Contact Sonja Cartwright or Natalia Dmitrienko for more information.

- NOMINATING COMMITTEE - Our Nominating Committee has been decided and includes the following people: Lanni Aasen, John Cartwright, Sonja Cartwright, Rachel deCell, Tom Dwyer, Phyllis Flowers, Marlene McCraw, Sharon Ormerod, and Ed Terry.  Start prayerfully considering what you can do to be of service to your church.  Feel free to contact one of the committee members with your areas of interest.

- REDWOOD CAMP MEETING will take place in person this summer! Due to attendance limitations, there will be two sessions that campers can choose between: July 19-24 or July 26-31. Redwood organizers are working on an online registration form.  Please keep checking redwoodareacamp.com for updates and more information.

- EVANGELISM 2021 UPDATE: We are updating our evangelistic approach this year.  We have started our evangelistic outreach as planned using short videos over a number of weeks until the fall season when we tie it off with more extensive presentations.

- VESPERS SQUAD - We are a community of young adults from the greater Sacramento area that grow closer to God through achieving #squadgoals. Join our group chat so that you can be in the loop of weekly vespers, hikes, camping trips, and outreach. Download the app GroupMe and click this link to join:
http://bit.ly/vespers-squad.

- PHONE PRAYER:  MONDAY (10-11am or 7-8pm) call (435) 777-2200, and use Code 2475855# - you can join the call for 5 minutes or the entire hour.  If you are hungry for some fellowship, join us this Monday for our weekly prayer call.

- ORDERING FROM ADVENTIST BOOK CENTER: Anytime you order, except subscriptions, from AdventistBookCenter.com, give them our church code #73104.  This 5 digit code must be entered for each purchase made through AdventistBookCenter.com for us to receive credit.
