SALUTE TO GRADS

Liz Logback | Creative Writing - Poetry (BA) '21

Attending Columbia has fueled my dreams of being a poet and given me the opportunity to work alongside incredible professors who helped me grow and learn as a writer, making me not only a better interpreter of literature, but a better human who approaches the world with curiosity and gratitude.

Anthony Fuentes | Cinema Art and Science (BA) '21

"Columbia is a school full of opportunity and connections, but neither of those things come to you naturally. You must actively seek it out. Even if you don’t have experience, just jump on a project, and push yourself to learn from those around you."

Paige Barnes | Journalism (BA) '21

"Take advantage of your time at Columbia to become the most amazing version of yourself and be intentional with every project you take on."

Madeleine VandenHeuvel | Contemporary, Urban, and Popular Music (BMus) '21

"For any of my fellow workaholics out there, I am telling you that it is okay for you to rest. Your value as a creative is not based on your productivity level. Get your sleep, drink enough water, and give your body the love and care that it deserves!"
